SUMMARY:
Nike partnered with Chris Pyrate to launch a vibrant pop-up and mural activation at Capital One Arena in celebration of the Washington Wizards’ Cherry Blossom retail collection, which featured exclusive pieces designed by Pyrate himself. The event also marked the debut of his first signature independent sneaker and included a live mural painted in just 36 hours, showcasing Nike’s iconic logo reimagined through Chris’s signature cherry blossom motif.
Our team spearheaded the marketing campaign, managed event logistics, and provided full visual coverage — from content capture to post-production — to highlight the artistic energy and cultural significance of the moment. The activation drew a dynamic crowd, including NBA player Daniel Gafford, and served as a powerful intersection of sport, art, and community.
